Electric mixed sauna with cliffside sea views on Dyrön island. The ferry docked at Dyrön on a crisp autumn morning, and I walked along the south coast path toward the sauna. The island felt quiet, with rocky cliffs dropping into the sea and a few houses scattered among the trees. I had sent the SMS an hour earlier to start the heating, as instructed. When I arrived, the door was unlocked, just like the booking details said. Inside, the electric sauna was already warming up, the air thick with that clean, building heat. I changed and settled on the wooden bench, letting the warmth seep in slowly.
