1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of RentsCompare ("we", "us", "our"), a free service that lets you compare rentals offered by third-party rental shops. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use RentsCompare.
2. RentsCompare is a comparison service, not a rental provider
This is important: RentsCompare does not own, offer, rent out, supply or deliver any of the items listed on the site. We are not a rental company, agency, broker or reseller. Every rental is provided by an independent third-party shop. We simply collect their listings so you can compare them, and we link you to the shop.
3. No booking or contract through RentsCompare
You cannot book, pay for or enter into a rental agreement on RentsCompare. When you decide to rent, you leave our site and deal directly with the rental shop. Any contract, booking, payment, deposit, cancellation and refund is solely between you and that shop, under the shop's own terms and conditions.
4. Prices, availability and accuracy
The prices, availability, specifications, images and other details we show are collected from public sources and from the shops themselves. They may be out of date, incomplete or different from the shop's own website. Always confirm the current details with the shop before you book. All information is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind.
5. Reviews and ratings
Ratings and reviews shown on RentsCompare may come from RentsCompare users or from third-party sources such as Google. They reflect the opinions of the people who wrote them, not RentsCompare, and we do not guarantee their accuracy or completeness.
6. Our role and liability
Because RentsCompare is only a comparison service, we are not responsible for the rentals themselves, the conduct of any rental shop, or the quality, safety or legality of any item. To the fullest extent permitted by law, RentsCompare is not liable for any loss, damage, injury or dispute arising from a rental you find through us. Any issue with a rental must be resolved directly with the shop.
7. Acceptable use
You may use RentsCompare to research and compare rentals for your own use. Please do not scrape the site at scale, copy our content, try to disrupt how it works, or use it for anything unlawful.
8. Intellectual property
The RentsCompare name, logo, design and original content belong to us. Listing data, shop names and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners and are shown for comparison purposes.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version always lives on this page, and continuing to use RentsCompare means you accept the latest version.
