HALF-DAY OPTION: 4PM-8:30PM Join our full-day private sailing trip, leaving Heraklion Old port daily and live a proper sailing experience, looked after by our experienced and hospitable crew, with plenty of time to take in this wonderful journey. With the best views of Crete seen only by sea, we will make enough anchor stops to give you the opportunity to admire the beaches and of course sailing! We meet at the Old Venetian port of Heraklion and our staff welcome you on board. We will give you the safety briefing and boat handling instructions and set our sails for our first destination, the island across the island! Dia is an uninhabited island, 7 nautical miles north and is protected by the Natura 2000 project because of its biodiversity. The trip there lasts almost one hour, during which you can enjoy the beauty of the sea, the silence and calmness and get informed on eco sailing and marine life around Crete or participate in the sailing activities with our skilled skipper! HIGHLIGHTS: Pickup service is available for free from Heraklion and surrounding up to 10km. Please provide your accommodation details. Pick up is available from any part of Crete upon extra charge. You will be contacted within 24hours after your booking regarding the meeting point, pickup time and extra cost if there is any. Meal option is available upon extra cost. A delicious lunch will be prepared for you, exclusively from fresh and local ingredients. ABOUT OUR YACHT: Beneteau first 45 F5 is a super sailboat, competitive and very confortable on navigation. On board you will find 4 Nautalins, 2 wc and all the equipement to make your trip unforgettable ! She comes also with new electronics, New sails (2015), New covers (2016), New battery charger (2016) and more. The region around Heraklion is one of the most beautiful place to sail in Greece.
