8-Hour Private Day Charter with Skipper - From Marina di Valletta, Malta Your charter begins at Marina di Valletta, where your skipper will welcome you aboard Star Seed, a 14-metre sailing yacht. After a short briefing, we set off along Malta’s scenic limestone coastline, cruising towards the calmest bays and anchorages chosen for the day. Each trip is planned around the weather and sea conditions, allowing your skipper to choose the most beautiful places for swimming, relaxing and exploring. If conditions allow, we often make our first stop at the clear, sheltered waters of Selmun or Imgiebah Bay — peaceful spots known for their natural beauty and quieter atmosphere. From there, we continue north towards the best anchorages around Comino, passing by the famous Blue Lagoon on the way. Depending on the route, there may be opportunities to stop at some of Comino’s quieter coves and lesser-known bays. Around Crystal Lagoon, bright blue water, sea caves and a nearby wreck offer excellent snorkelling. On 8-hour charters, we will anchor in a beautiful sheltered bay for lunch, with the option to use the onboard barbecue. Depending on the conditions and your preferences, we may also explore bays around the north or south of Gozo. We typically visit several swimming spots, giving you time to snorkel, unwind on board, use the stand-up paddleboard and take in the sun and scenery. If the wind is suitable and you’d like to experience sailing, your skipper may hoist the sails for part of the journey before returning to the marina. For a more sheltered route, we can shape the charter around Malta’s two natural harbours, giving you a beautiful view of Valletta from the water. This route typically takes in Manoel Island, Sliema Creek, Marsamxett Harbour, the Grand Harbour and historic Birgu, with Valletta’s imposing bastions and harbour fortifications rising above the sea. It is also well suited to special occasions or relaxed time on board, with snacks and drinks enjoyed as you take in Valletta and its historic harbours from a unique perspective. Water, tea and coffee are included. We welcome you to bring your own food and drinks to enjoy on board. Optional snacks, drinks or lunch can also be arranged at an additional cost; please ask for details when booking. This listing is for the 8-hour private day charter.
