Sailing adventure in AZORES islands! Bavaria 50 Cruiser from 2007 renovated in 2024. Take the helm and discover the islands of the central group of the Azores in this sailing adventure, where you can experience the secrets of navigation aboard our oceanic sailboat. Join our dedicated team and you will enjoy a fantastic sailing experience, regardless of your level of expertise. Explore what the sea alongside these Atlantic islands has to unveil in this unforgettable adventure. An example of what we can provide Day 1 Arriving at the picturesque Faial Island, nestled in the stunning Azores archipelago, you are warmly welcomed by our team. Immerse yourself in the welcoming atmosphere as we present all the details of our comfortable sailboat, moored in the charming Horta Marina. If weather permits, join us for a Sunset Welcome Tour. And to cap off the day, we'll have time to explore the city of Horta until nightfall and prepare for this fantastic adventure! Day 2 We set sail towards Lajes do Pico early in the morning.Throughout the day, imposing landscapes of Pico Mountain emerge on the horizon, with sightings of various marine species, such as dolphins, whales, and seabirds, making the journey even more memorable. Day 3 Early in the morning, we depart for Velas (São Jorge). Participants are invited to actively participate in onboard maneuvers and navigation under the guidance of the crew.We cross the channel between Pico and São Jorge, and by late afternoon, we dock at Velas Marina. After dinner, still under the last rays of light, we begin our night navigation. Day 4 We sail under a starry sky, exploring the open waters around Ponta do Rosais, immersing ourselves in the vastness of the ocean until the first light of day. The awakening is accompanied by stunning fajãs as a backdrop. Approaching Fajã de Santo Cristo in the morning, we disembark to explore this fascinating part of the island and you can savor the best clams in the world! Returning to the boat in the afternoon, we continue our journey to Angra do Heroísmo, where we arrive in the early evening. Day 5 Immersed in the rich legacy and timeless beauty of this historic city, Angra do Heroísmo is a UNESCO-recognized treasure that invites us to delve into its fascinating stories and charming landscapes. Day 6 Departing from the calm waters of Angra do Heroísmo, the maritime journey to charming Calheta is a journey full of discoveries. As we move away from the coast, we are treated to breathtaking views of the cliffs that adorn the landscape. The crystalline waters of the Atlantic reveal a rich and diverse marine ecosystem, providing glimpses of colorful fish and perhaps even playful dolphins accompanying us on this adventure. The horizon is dotted with islets and impressive rock formations, each with its own story to tell. The gentle breeze and bright sun create a serene atmosphere, inviting us to enjoy this unique experience. Day 7 In the morning, we begin our navigation towards Horta. During the journey, we will have the pleasure of admiring the magnificent landscape of the three islands of the "Triangle" and we may be surprised by the rich local marine life. Our arrival in Horta will be around mid-afternoon. Later there will be time to enjoy a gin (or two) at Peter Café and celebrate every moment of this unique adventure! Day 8 The time has come to bid farewell to these stunning landscapes and board the transfer to the airport. Thus, we conclude this sailing journey through the islands of the central archipelago.
