FLAM is a very well equipped, off grid home from home. It's compact so makes for easy driving, yet is spacious enough for longer trips.
Originally built to take us and our sports equipment around Europe it is now ideal for holidays and long weekends away.
We enjoy the flexibility of not having to book accommodation and be able to stop anywhere en route such as a beach, lake, french Aire, or a scenic spot found on the park4night app. Park up and close the curtains! No need to get out of the van for anything or faff about with a folding bed.
The van has been very reliable and is easy to drive due to its high position, large mirrors, parking sensors and reverse camera. Being a MWB, it just about fits in a large parking space, which is handy when arriving in a new town.
There is a kitchen, dining area, fully functioning shower-room and a top quality water/ air heater. You will also find plenty of space for clothes and food storage.
The double bed is full length but is 20cm narrower at the foot end. At 6'4 I am comfortable sleeping in it.
It can be run 'off grid' for a few days or indefinitely when sunny due to its large 300ah lithium leisure battery +300w solar panel and can be hooked up to campsite mains power if necessary.
There is a large 80L fridge, gas hobs, lights, ceiling fan and 230v from the inverter, Sony head unit.
The van comes fully equipped with kitchen equipment. The following optional kit is available to use at no extra cost - outdoor freestanding table & camp chairs, sun awning, additional water tanks, and a comfy front single bed for a third person under 6 foot.
