Description

Two-hour sea-side sauna on Öckerö's jetty with dips in the harbor. The ferry ride from Gothenburg brought me to Öckerö on a crisp autumn morning. The island sat quiet in the Bohuslän archipelago, with rocky shores and fishing boats dotting the water. I walked along Björnhuvudsvägen, past simple houses and patches of wild grass, until I reached the Nimbus Öckerö spot at number 49. The sauna building stood at the very end of the pier, overlooking the sea and coastline. I had booked a two-hour session for 450 SEK through their website, paying right away with Swish.
