HALF-DAY OPTION: 4PM-8:30PM Sunsets in the Greek islands are world famous. Imagine admiring the blast of colours sinking in the sea with a first row seat! This half day trip is designed for couples, families, friends, even your small pets. It is a Summer moment that no one should miss! We meet at the old Venetian Harbour of Heraklion (we can arrange a pick up from your hotel) and welcome you on board to get to know each other and brief you on safety, boat handling and sailing tips! The destination of our journey is the island across the island! Dia! Dia is an uninhabited small island, 7 nautical miles north of Heraklion and is protected by the Natura 2000 project for its biodiversity. The trip there lasts almost one hour, during which you can enjoy the silence, the sun, the blue surroundings, get informed on eco sailing and marine life around Crete or participate in the sailing activities with our skilled skipper! When we reach Dia, we set anchor on either Agios Georgios or Panagia bay (depending on the weather conditions), which are located on the south part of the island. Both coves are known for their green, crystal waters surrounded by protected wildlife, like the wild rabbit. Let us sit back, enjoy and talk about the history and the flaura and fauna of this little island. Activate your body with swimming in the beautiful waters, snorkelling, sunbathing or isolating to explore your surroundings and enjoy mother nature. On board you will find refreshments and fresh fruit to snack! HIGHLIGHTS: Pickup service is available for free from Heraklion and surrounding up to 10km. Please provide your accommodation details. Pick up is available from any part of Crete upon extra charge. You will be contacted within 24hours after your booking regarding the meeting point, pickup time and extra cost if there is any. Meal option is available upon extra cost. A delicious lunch will be prepared for you, exclusively from fresh and local ingredients.
